Who we are

This store is operated by What’s The Dirt? (“we”, “us”, “our”). Placing an order means you agree to these terms. Reach us any time at Santana@whatsthedirt.org.

What you are buying

Our products

Everything here is apparel printed to order through our fulfilment partner. Product photos and mockups are representative. Because garments are printed and dyed one at a time, small variations in print placement and colour between items are normal and are not defects.

How an order works

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is unavailable, a price or description was listed in error, or we suspect fraudulent use of a payment method.

Money

Pricing and payment

All prices are in US dollars. They exclude shipping, and exclude any import duties or taxes charged on arrival in your country. Payment is taken at checkout and handled by our payment provider. we never see or store your full card details.

One person, one code

Discount codes

Discount codes, including Patreon member codes, are issued to one person, work once, and cannot be shared, sold, transferred or combined with other offers. We may void a code we believe has been shared or misused.

Shipping and refunds

Governed by our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

The artwork

Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, comic panels, logos and written content on this site belong to What’s The Dirt? and are protected by copyright. Buying an item buys you the item. It does not transfer any rights in the artwork. You may not reproduce, resell or print our designs, or use them in your own products or merchandise, without written permission.

Your side of it

Your account and conduct

• If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for activity under it. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
• Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with how it runs, or to try to reach parts of it that are not yours.

The limit

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. None of this limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

What you post

The theories board

Every theory and every comment is read before it appears. We may decline or remove anything for any reason, and we may block an account that abuses this. Nothing you post is guaranteed to be published or to stay published.

Do not post other people’s personal information, threats, harassment, hate, sexual content, spam, or anything you do not have the right to publish. Do not state as fact something about a named person that you cannot stand behind. A theory is a theory, and it should read like one.

You may attach one link to a theory. The link has to start with https, and it is your responsibility that whatever sits at the other end is legal and is yours to share. We do not host, check or vouch for anything on another site, and a link can be removed on its own.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it you give us permission to display it on this site next to your display name, and to remove it. You are responsible for what you post.
